We all start at the beginning, and believe it or not, that's where I started too. I first found metalwork nearly 20 years ago, and still, for years I was paralyzed by the idea of silversmithing in my own studio- what do I buy, how much of everything do I need, do I have to invest in all of this at once? HERE'S WHY INTRO TO SOLDERING IS DIFFERENT
Most of the content that you find on YouTube or in blog posts leaves a lot open to interpretation. Not only can they be a bit ambiguous, but more often than not, they're sped up. But does that really matter? YES! It can often create an unrealistic expectation of how long it actually takes to construct a piece.
